Summary information
Southern Gulf Catchments Ltd a not-for-profit community-based company responsible for planning and implementation of sustainable Natural Resource Management (NRM) in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria region of North West Queensland.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
· To work with the Southern Gulf Catchments team in the coordinated delivery of the ‘Caring for our Country’ funding program and other related natural resource management programs across the region.
· To coordinate a regional GIS through which support is provided for project development, management, delivery, and monitoring and evaluation activities for the Southern Gulf Catchments team, as well as individual stakeholders, community groups and organisations undertaking activities associated with the Natural Resource Management Plan.
