Summary information
The Condamine Catchment is located at the very headwaters of Australia’s biggest river system, the Murray-Darling Basin. Our Toowoomba based client, the Condamine Alliance, is a regional body with the lead responsibility for enabling the community to achieve sustainable natural resource management (NRM) within the catchment. The Alliance is funded by both State & Federal Governments and its vision is to be an innovative leader in NRM.
Responsible for what is currently the only registered Demonstration Reach in Queensland, Condamine Alliance is currently seeking an astute professional to lead the delivery of its Water Program.
In this capacity, you will: provide technical advice & strategic direction on program issues; manage projects & associated budgets; manage staff development & performance; contribute to the NRM Plan and Corporate Strategic Plan target delivery; negotiate project collaborations; support growth in grant submissions for Water Program projects; manage partner relationships; liaise with relevant Government Agencies; deliver agreed outcomes from the Water Program; and related reporting.
