Our Toowoomba based client, a leading not-for-profit organisation within the natural resource management sector, is currently seeking an astute professional to engage with key stakeholder groups within the region to encourage active participation in on-the-ground projects.
Working with both established and new volunteer networks, in this role you will take accountability for: the development and review of a Volunteer Program; providing effective direction to management on issues relating to the volunteer sector; enabling volunteers to be connected with the activities of the organisation; negotiating project collaborations; supporting growth in grant submissions for volunteer projects; volunteer project management; management of partner relationships; delivering agreed outcomes from the Volunteer Program; and related reporting and record keeping.
While your experience need not have been gained within the environmental sector, your success in this role will be underpinned by the following core skills: project management;
community engagement; monitoring, evaluation, reporting & improvement; team participation; & knowledge of volunteer arrangements and networks.
