The Natural resource management incentives database provides extensive details of incentives and grants to encourage to Queensland landholders, community groups and regional bodies undertaking natural resource management activities. This is provided by the Department of Natural Resources and Water.
Some of the major funding sources include Caring for our Country (eg. Open and coastal grants) and the Department of Natural Resources and Water (eg. Natural Resources Awareness Grants).
Regional NRM Incentives
Regional NRM bodies offer a range of incentives, including financial and technical support, which vary across the state. Regional bodies partly deliver funds from the Australian Government (Caring for our Country) and the Department of Natural Resources and Water.
Regional Investment Strategies (RIS) provide details on the specific actions, costs and timeframes that are required to implement a regional natural resource management plan and achieve the targets set within it.
Contact your local Regional NRM Body for further information on available incentives.
