Corporate Sponsorship

Regional NRM bodies are increasingly building partnerships with corporate investors addressing areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
 
Regional NRM bodies build partnerships with land managers, community groups, industry groups, Indigenous groups, research and education institutions and local, State and Australian Governments to:
 
  • Mobilise on-ground work
  • Strengthen partnerships
  • Provide incentives
  • Share knowledge
  • Plan for regional natural resource management
  • Monitor the health of natural resources and outcomes of collaborative work
 
Some on-ground activities to be considered for corporate investment opportunities include:
 
  • weed management
  • feral animal control
  • ground water management
  • aquatic ecosystems
  • community awareness raising, engagement and education
  • water quality monitoring
  • water use efficiency
  • remnant vegetation and conservation
  • agricultural land management
  • landscape amenity
